Christmas!!

Christmas this year was quiet for the Bournes. We stayed at home and had a lovely ham dinner complete with homemade biscuits, baked beans, potato scallop and veggies. We opened our gifts Christmas Eve as is our tradition.
Christmas morning Layla was excited to find that Santa had found her in her new home and left her the Barbie house she had been hoping for.
...as well as makeup and fake nails.
For Christmas breakfast we had pancakes, sausage, omeletes, bacon and toast. Mmmm, I shouldn't be typing this on an empty stomach, I'm starting to drool.
Although quiet, it was a great Christmas spent with even greater company.

  1. Good for you. Christmases at home are the best. Though, I do prefer to have some company for Christmas dinner if possible. Love the 50s flair of that Barbie house roofline.

  2. agreed, Jen. I don't think I'd do Christmas morning anywhere but home, but dinner guests are nice!

  3. We learned early in our marriage that family Christmas's at our own home were the best. Glad you had a good one.
